The corporate reporting season has officially begun with the publication of results by the largest US banks JP Morgan, Wells Fargo and Citigroup all beat estimates, while Morgan Stanley underperformed. From Barclays they project that the six largest banks in the US issue debt following the quarterly results and expect to raise between US $35,000 and $40,000 million in the last quarter of the year. The Consumer Price Index reached 8.2% for the third time in a row, slightly above expectations that placed the CPI at 8.1%
